Covelli Italian Bistro & Wine Bar @ Orchard Central, 25th February 2012, 11am - 1pm.
Was lucky to score invites to this private event ! Basically, we just had to comment on Maybelline's fb page on why we love Maybelline, and with that, leave down our emails + blog links !
Was notified via email that i was shortlisted & at that time, i was at the airport with ShuMin, i was so happy !
Made my way to Orchard Central, reached there on the dot, which wasn't too bad since i left house late :/
Upon reaching the place, we were told to write messages on a board (will be shown later).
After which, we were all guided to a table + seated there & it wasn't long before the event started !
The event started off with a fashion runway from LoveBonito & something really unique happened !
It can't really be seen in the pictures, but the models only had eye make up on one side (to show the power of makeup).
Was lucky to at least snap some pictures because the models walked off too quickly !

(New "Jelly Glow Blush" that will be available in stores from April onwards ! While waiting for the food to arrive, samples of the new products were also given out for us to try. This "Jelly Glow" blush really does live up to it's name, the texture is slightly bouncy & really light ! Similarly, it's smaller than the average size blusher, which i find a whole lot easier + convenient to bring around !)
After which, a 3 course lunch was served. First up, potato soup for starters which was really yummy ! Chicken / Tuna Spaghetti for main course (I chose chicken but tried the tuna spaghetti from Andrea anyway) & lastly, a strawberry cake for dessert !
There was also a talk given by Maybelline's make up artist which i couldn't really hear since i was sitting a tad too far & my view was obstructed by a wall. Singapore's Wanton Doodle also was also there to explain his sketch of Maybelline's products which you'll see later ! It wasn't long before everyone finished up their food & the 2nd half of the Love Bonito fashion runway continued again !
(This time, the models no longer had makeup for only one side of their face, they had make up on for both sides but it's a little hard to see from the pictures since i was sitting abit far from them. All of them were really slim ! I really like the third dress from the second row, the prints were really pretty !

Was surprised to see so many bloggers at the event when i was leaving the place. Some blogshop owners too ! It was kinda funny because i was constantly checking instagram before the event started & some of them even posted #ootd pictures & hence i was really surprised to see them there too ! Took a pic with Maria before we left the place together. & with that, the board you see in the picture was done by Singapore's Wanton Doodle himself ! As seen in the board, all of us wrote messages in the speech bubbles before the event started. Thanks to Maybelline Singapore for the invite to the event & at the same time, i made new friends too, namely Maria & Andrea ! :D
Not forgetting the most important thing, each of us took a goodie bag home which was sponsered by Maybelline !

Shopped alone at 313 Somerset's F21 after the event while waiting for Shumin to come. Oh, i really have a weak spot for crotchet stuff. Before she even came, i've already purchased a couple of tops from F21 !
Mad tiring day because we went to Bugis too, for OSF'S Clothes Buffet. It was kinda hard to locate the place & we were sweating so much while walking under the hot sun :/
Both of us didn't get anything from there because nothing caught our eye. Had such a hard time contemplating if we should leave the place empty handed because it was kinda embarrassing !
Had frolick at bugis before we made our way back to 313 Somerset + Orchard.
Such a coincidence, we were shopping halfway when we noticed someone staring at us from afar.
Guess who we saw ? Siti !! Had a short conversation + took pics tgt before we left.
& to make up for so little pics taken that day, we were camwhoring shamelessly in the train while on the way home, LOL.
