What's In My Makeup Pouch ?

Been really busy lately ! Lots of projects to do, busy with school, activities to attend & meetups !

Haven't posted ever since blogger changed their layout. I really need time to adjust to the new change, hmm.

Today's post will be a short one, & like the title proposes, i'll be sharing "What's in my makeup pouch" !

Everyone's routine / beauty regime is different, so yeah, feel free to share yours with me whenever !

(New F21 polka dot makeup pouch which i ordered online. The reviews were quite good, one of the most highly raved over pouch on site ! & i must say, it certainly did not disappoint. I like the clear compartments, which makes it easy to find things you see, but the downside is, i find it's size a little too big !)

ZA Foundation: They sort of have this yearly promotion thing whereby they have limited edition cases introduced every year. I think this was the range from 2 years back , but it's still in very good condition, & i love how's its sparkly, very pretty !

ZA Duo Toned Blusher: This was from the ZAZA GOGO snapshoot contest last year which i won the prize previously. I personally find that it's not bad, & i like how it's two toned whereby the lighter shade comes in handy during contouring !

Mac Blusher: I alternate between using the za & mac blusher. Really depends on my mood, sometimes i just grab whichever that i see first. Bought this for $25USD from my phillipines trip previously during DFS shopping. The quality is not bad + the shade is pretty nice, but it doesn't come with a brush :/

Maybelline Babylips Lip Balm: Must i elaborate on this ? This lipbalm is just awesome, keeps your lips moist throughout the day & the packaging omg, it comes it such cute color combinations ! It comes it 3/4 other color combinations if i'm not wrong. Retails for $5.90, but i got mine for $2.90 at cold storage when they were having a promotion (:

Maybelline MagNum Ultra Comb Volum Express Mascara: This was free from the blogger / fan brunch at ion  previously. Still loving this, it doesn't clump your lashes ! It's curved applicator + convex brush  is shaped for asian eyes !

ZA Impact Lash Mascara (Volume): Bought one last year because i wanted to participate in the GOGO Snapshoot contest & indeed, i did win ! & part of the $1000 prize, i had the full range of mascara's from this range. If you really want to achieve falsies like lashes, you will have to use all 4 of them from this range (base, wide eyes, long & volume). BUT i can't be bothered to complete the 4 step process (too time consuming). I'm was only using one previously, the volume one works perfectly fine & i don't need that much of a dramatic look when i'm going out / places nearby.

Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner: This is quite an old brand i suppose ? Was introduced to this by my mum. One of the most important factors when looking into eyeliners, it doesn't smudge that easily (plus points!!). Don't really use it that often for now because i finally got the hang of using a liquid eyeliner, LOL. The current eyeliner i'm using now (heroine make kiss me eyeliner) is not shown in this post because this picture was taken about a month back. Been wanting to post it up, but i've been dragging the post time after time :l Am sticking on to using the liquid eyeliner because the tip of the brush is really fine to create a smooth & clean line. On top of that, it doesn't smudge at all after it dries !

Vaseline Lip Therapy: This is the cheapest out of all the items listed here, it's only $2 ! Works best when your have dry / chapped lips. I use this on a daily basis, twice per day, once in the morning & at night !

Eyelash Curler: Doesn't need explanation for this. A MUST to curl your lashes before using mascara !

Clinique Superfit Makeup: I forgot how much this costed, but my mum bought it for me. Basically, i use this as a concealer, to hide eyebags, blemishes, imperfections. etc !

That's all, i didn't expect it to be such a long post after all, till the next update !

& not forgetting, since i'm gonna schedule this post to be up tomorrow (2/5/12, 8:30pm), Happy Birthday to Xuanjie ! Mm, hope the surprise I've arranged tmr with the clique will be successful. One of the rare times in which planning a surprise which i don't have to be secretive about AT ALL because all of the rest has twitter while he doesn't, LOL.
