Looking at my facebook calender, it's like never ending (at least for the month of Jan to me).
Victoria's Birthday Celebration 30/12/12
Met up with the schoolmates for korean bbq during the holidays to celebrate Victoria's 17th Birthday !
This was a day after the uss after party if i'm not wrong. This explains the tiredness.
I was alittle late in meeting all of them but luckily i still managed to find my way to the correct place.
(Heh, my idea of getting twelve cupcakes since it would be more convenient as we were in town.)
(Ate the cupcakes after all of us were finished with our meal. I was so full from eating all the food ._.)
After which they accompanied me to Somerset to collect my Aldo voucher & because Victoria wanted to get the diva birdcage accessories holder which i bought. Shopped in town for awhile before all of us went different ways.
Countdown 31/12/12

Celebrated countown 2012 a little different as compared to previous years. Everyone in the clique had their own stuff on & since the both of us had no plans, we decided to celebrate our first countdown together. Hmm, & we had leftover tickets from our gardens by the bay trip to the hippo river cruise anyway so why not (it was expiring on 31dec). We met at like 5/6+ because of the rain (it kinda dampened my mood), but as soon as we met up, everything's fine + the rain eventually grew smaller.
First up, was dinz at Saizeriya because both of us were really hungry ! Place recommended by Siying.
Pricing wise, it is really affordable, i was shocked for a moment when i opened the menu lol ! & the best thing, no service charge. Waiting time, service were all fine too !

After dinz, we wondered around Clark Quay for awhile as we had spare time before the cruise at 9:30pm.
Both of us contemplated to buy some headgear (those with lights) but decided not to in the end as we found it to be a little too attention seeking, moreover, it was just the two of us.
Queued 10/15mins before 9:30pm and as soon we were up on the cruise, majority of us were busy snapping pics. The both of us sat in front which proved to a bad decision afterwards as it started to drizzle. But, at least we managed to snap some pics without people's heads blocking. The ride I would say, was kinda comforting in my opinion. For the fact that it was so peaceful + quiet with you being able to admire the night scene of the city. Really enjoyed myself + didn't regret going (we did consider just letting the tickets go to waste if we both had things on, but now i'm just really glad we didn't miss it).

So, that's the end of the iphone snaps for the day. No pics of us taken by my dslr because that would mean showing all our imperfections at it's best because we were sweaty / cui looking at the end of the day (like all normal days).

So, that's the end of the river cruise, which took about 45mins (to & fro). Really enjoyed it, good experience ! After the river cruise, our initial plan was to head to Helix Bridge for the fireworks, but upon reaching the place, the whole bridge was closed lol. So, we just headed to camp slightly in front of mbs (alongside with loads of other people). Both of us, bad decision to wear a skirt as the floor was wet due to the rain, our skirt soaked up all the water on the area we sat on (stupid us forgot about bringing plastic bags) + it was so inconvenient to move around.
Long awaited fireworks. In the midst of waiting (while camping in front of mbs), the both of us chatted for quite abit & even resorted to playing a game listing our similarities & differences (the list can go on forever...)
(Article I found on the newspaper afew days later & I realised that the hippo cruise that we sat on during 31st Dec was on it's last operation !! The hippo cruise would be scraped & will be replaced with new water transport services :/)
ALL IN ALL, 2012 ended on a good note & I believe 2013 will bring great things. Don't really have any new year resolutions set for myself this year but all i want is to do okay in school, & for all my loved ones to stay happy & healthy. & um, maybe shed afew kilos if i'm ever determined to, LOL.
Julius's BIG 20TH 11/01/13
Planning Julius's birthday was quite an easy one because he didn't have a phone (temporary). Which leaves all the planning into the group chat on whatapp without him knowing anything at all.
As soon as school was over, i immediately rushed home to change & proceeded to meet Jason to collect the cake at T1's Awfully Chocolate first.
Met Ishveer afterwards to take the shuttle bus to head to Ikea with the rest for dinz !

Ikea was really crowded, it took us awhile before we managed to find seats. Saw WeiBin there too !
Judging from the picture above, there was like ALOTTTT of food ? Everyone was so full towards the end.
Jason needed to get some stuff from Ikea & we managed to convince Julius to go with him while we prepared the cake !

(This was quite sudden actually, Jason grabbed him & there, Ishveer smashed a piece of cake to his face.)
Accompanied Jason to get his stuff at Courts + for group pictures before Julius left. The rest all headed to ShuMin's place just like the good old times to have a movie marathon. We watched 3 movies before some K.O-ed at 4am+. Had mac for breakfast in the morning before i went home & I literally slept my whole Sat AWAY.
