Wasn't really feeling all "motivated" to blog but so much has happened over the span of 4 months.
I have a module in school where i'm supposed to blog weekly (on another blog) over the span of 6 weeks.
What really brought me back here was probably when i logged into blogger to edit the template of the other blog.

It was the holidays a couple of weeks back for most of us. Was initially celebrating christmas with the clique but some of them were overseas / had their own stuffs to attend. It was then when i came across YinaGoh & Pxdkitty's blog and read about the USS After Party event. It was an event run by USS for every sat from the dec period to 9 January if i'm not wrong.
Tickets were going for $33 (admission + free flow alcohol) / $20 (admission + 1 welcome drink).
With free flow alcohol, what not to fuss about right ? This easily satisfied the guys & so after everyone confirmed, I booked our tickets online afew days in advance before the actual day.
All of us met up at whitesands & had dinner before making our way there in 2 separate cabs.
(The crowd was okay i guess, it wasn't particularly crowded, still alright.)
(This doesn't need introduction, our first pitstop was to get drinks.)

After finding an empty table, most of us just stood around & just chilled while listening to the band. The difference between the free flow / one drink tickets was that people with the free flow had to wear a tag on their hands. & they were given cups (which we are supposed to hold on to for the whole night to get refills). The difference in the cups was, for free flow, it was printed with uss's logo while the one drink just used plain cups. Most of the time, the queue for the alcohol counter was pretty long too, except for the occasional lucky times !
It wasn't long before me & Shumin wondered around the shops while waiting for the fireworks to start at 9:30pm. Some of the more interesting merchandise ~ Was initially looking for the sesame street cupcakes but we couldn't find it :(
(We reached back just in time before the fireworks started !)
(Ohya, they also have a couple of dancers standing on slightly elevated platforms dancing too. There were more on the stage though !)
(It wasn't long before most of us got tired from standing & we found a quiet place to sit + rest while those who were not tired still lingered around the stage area.)
Found this podium thingy a perfect spot to take pics & as usual, spammed pics before we decided to leave the place around 11+, close to 12midnight.
(I actually feel all of us look quite gay here, LOL.)
The night wasn't over, just yet ! Most of us were feeling pretty hungry & so, it was supper next !
Cabbed to Bedok 85, Julius + Shumin left abit earlier. The rest stayed on for supper before heading home.
To sum up the night, we only met up for a couple of hours but still a great catch up !
Still thinking, but I should be blogging about the January babies in the next post ! :D
